About Chip

Chip became a member of the Bailey family in June of 2009. He was a stray that was picked up in a rural
area by a local animal shelter and subsequently taken in by HART  - Homeless Animals Rescue Team.
Amy and her family found Chip (or perhaps he found them) at an weekend adoption event held at a local
Petco. Chip has filled their hearts and home with love and mischief and lots of sweetness which was
much needed after the family had lost two dogs within the past year, their almost 16 year old dachshund
having passed just a few weeks before Chip entered their lives. While the Baileys don't know much about
Chip's life before he became a part of their family they do know that he is about four years old, he doesn't
bark much, he likes all people and most other dogs, enjoys being outside and taken for a walk (often more
the sniffing than the walking). He is responsible for many smiles and much happiness for which his family
is endlessly grateful.

Chip's idea of "helping" Amy rake leaves.            Resting in a park in Canada.           Exploring the yard on his first day w/us.

Sunbathing at a baseball game.               Anxious to cross into Canada.               Comfy in his favorite spot on the couch.

Chip loves getting emails. You can send him one at his email address:
